Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents. Today the role of school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of this global and dynamic society.

Air Force School Barrackpore has carved a niche not only in its locality but has spread its wings outside its boundaries by providing conducive atmosphere to our students for multifarious development. Here the pupils are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. We provide a complete holistic and student centric environment. The school is an amalgam of scholastic and co scholastic activities.

We believe in “quality is never an accident. It is always the result of intelligent effort”. While academic excellence is our major thrust, yet we are devoted to groom our pupils to be socially relevant. A student just harnessed in wide open spaces, classrooms and library, laboratories and large fields do not make a good school. It is the heart of the students and the staff that the true institution exists. Education is not just a degree on paper, rather education is life itself. We encourage activity based learning inculcating a scientific temper and a spirit of free enquiry. We believe that the aim of argument is not victory, but progress.

We also aim for consistent parent support that empowers us to do more for the pupils. They are the most strengthening power in moulding our children future. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.

I am confident enough that at Air Force School Barrackpore, we are tending many young Dr. Kalam, Rishi Sunak, Sundar Pichai, Abhijeet Banerjee et al who will be adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the school.
